Gift Aid for St Michael's Under the Gift Aid scheme, the income of registered charities such as the Church can be increased by being able to claim 28p relief for each £1 of givings by an individual provided that:-
The Gift Aid Scheme gives us an opportunity to increase our income and, in terms of responsible stewardship, it provides members with a means of using their resources more effectively. By so doing, St Michael's can continue and, indeed, expand our work locally, nationally and overseas. The only requirement is for all those who are UK taxpayers to sign a Gift Aid Declaration There is no cost to individuals who complete a Gift Aid form and we earnestly request all members, friends and supporters of St. Michael’s who are taxpayers to sign a Gift Aid Declaration. Please be assured that, as is the case with the existing tax relief scheme, the record keeping will be confidential with only a very restricted number of members of the Finance Committee having access to the records. If you are a resident of Linlithgow and wish to make a donation to St Michael's either on a one-off basis or as part of your regular giving, please contact the church office in the first instance who will then have the Gift Aid convenor get in contact with you. If you are not resident to the town, you can download the gift aid certificate as an Adobe Acrobat PDF document(57Kb). This should be printed out, completed and returned with your donation.
Thank you. |
