Do you sit at home on a Monday evening? Why not set the video for Coronation Street and Eastenders and come and join us at Cross House instead?
For over 30 years, the Men’s Association has provided a forum for the men of St. Michael’s (and beyond) to meet in an informal and friendly way. Our meetings take a variety of formats, from guest speakers to travel videos, slide shows, visits, etc. Over the years, we have had talks ranging from gardening to hill climbing. We have seen videos of the Lofoten Islands and of the Scottish Islands. We have been treated to slide shows on the Dolomites in Italy, and on Antarctica. And we have visited places from the Royal Observatory to Paterson’s Bakery!
We have also made some very good friends with similar groups in the area. Each session, we are guests of the Men’s Fellowship of Bathgate High, and of the Men’s Groups of Boghall Church in Bathgate, Bo’ness & Carriden, and St. Ninian’s in Corstorphine, while the highlight of our year is the return visit from all of these groups to Linlithgow when around sixty men are gathered together in fellowship in our own Kirk Hall.
Why not come along and join us? We look forward to meeting you.
